The business specialises in manufacturing a range of different storage systems including Mezzanine Floors, Pallet Racking, Cantilever Racking and Shelving. They manage the whole process from initial design through to manufacture, install and service of the systems once installed. 

 

Given the difficult situation we’re currently in, the business still strives to grow and lead the way in their industry. They’re keen to add an ambitious, forward thinking, Business Development Manager to their team.

Key Responsibilities:

 

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for: 

 

• Contacting potential clients to build rapport and organise meetings.

• Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.

• Researching organisations and individuals to find new opportunities.

• Increasing the value of current customer base whist attracting new ones.

• Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.

• Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.

• Developing quotes and proposals for clients.

• Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.

Required Experience:

 

The Business Development Manager will have the following experience: 

 

• Experience in sales, marketing or related field.

• Strong understanding of storage systems particularly Mezzanine Floors.

• Strong communication skills and IT fluency.

• Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.

• Excellent organisational skills.

• Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.

• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Degree educated.

• Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.

Package: 

 

£40,000 to £50,000 + Car + Commission.
